Frequently asked questions
How is usage measured?
Billing is based on tokens processed through the gateway (input + output). Your free tier includes 500K tokens per month. After that, you pay per-token at the model's OpenRouter rate + 7%.
Why 7%?
The 7% margin covers gateway infrastructure, routing, and the optional cultural intelligence layer. It's low enough that switching from direct OpenRouter is practically free, but sustainable for us to operate.
Can I use the gateway without cultural adaptation?
Yes. The `nativ` parameter is completely optional. Without it, Nativ works as a standard OpenAI-compatible AI gateway with the same pricing.
Do you offer enterprise pricing?
For committed volume or custom deployment needs, contact us. We can offer volume discounts below the standard 7% markup.
